Relationships are our greatest opportunities for growth. When choosing the right partner or friend you should look for a person with good character, not just a good personality. Character determines how a person is going to treat you. Character is crucial because it earns the trust of others. Relationships are about learning who we are and honoring ourselves and others.

When these virtues are missing we will have feelings of sadness, anger, and betrayal. These feeling are indications that the relationship is in trouble and needs to be corrected. When your goals are different it will no longer be healthy to stay together.
